I have just added a TON of new websites that offer Audio Read Alouds. If you click on Reading at the top (not a drop down but just the reading tab) then go down on the lower right hand side you will see more than 20 web sites that offer FREE read alouds!! My favorite (and my students) is ROBERT MUNSCH! We listen to a Robert Munsch story every Monday - Munsch Monday! They LOVE his stories - most of them are really funny!
Let me know what you think! As always, if you have something that would make a good addition, please send me an e-mail
Sorry it has been so long, but I wanted to share a great resource for teachers.
The DESCRIBED and CAPTIONED MEDIA PROGRAM or DCMP.org has a TON of FREE videos for teachers who have students who have visual or hearing disabilities. You must create a log in, and if I remember correctly, you have to be approved. But who doesn't have a student that has visual or hearing difficulties?
And all of the videos are listed by grade level and sorted into cat
The Georgia Dept. of Ed. has come up with these great pacing guides with tons of
activities that are hands on. Even if you don't use this as a pacing
guide, the activities are wonderful! If you click on the math tab at the top, you will go to the math home page and if you scroll down you will see these wonderful units- Let me know what you think!
So I am starting to add some things to the reading section - I am coming across some great stuff that I didn't want to forget about.... - Leave me a comment - I would love to know if anyone is finding this helpful!
This site is under construction... I am working on the Math section first and then moving on. The buttons that are blue are active. If you have anything that you think will make a good addition, please post it below or e-mail me at email@example.com ! Thanks!
